Seals leaks and openings around flashings, chimneys, vents, skylights, and joints in metal edging, gutters, etc. Also used to repair holes, cracks, and splits on composition, smooth, and mineral surface cap sheet, asphalt coated, metal, and masonry roofs. Made of high quality refined asphalt reinforced with non-asbestos fibers. Spreads easily and forms a tough film that won't become brittle and crack in the coldest weather, or run and sag in the hottest. Covers 12.5 sq. ft. per gallon at 1/8" thickness. Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASTM Specification D-4586, Type I. Trowel Grade.
