Genuine Mahogany decking products are carefully manufactured and inspected to ensure their finest quality. Genuine Mahogany is a stable and highly regarded decking timber. However, these products are natural wood products and as such are subject to variations in weight, density, color, grain and performance. All decking products when exposed to a wide range of climatic conditions will in varying ways deteriorate over time. The use of natural timber decking in these conditions can result in swelling, shrinkage, grain lifting, cracking, cupping or warping. Exposure of processed wood to UV light will cause greying or silvering.
